I am not sure who created the saying 'Silence is Golden' but I will abide by that mantra today and take you through what Fall looks like outdoors, around our property all still, quite and beautiful..... because isn't that what nature offers us. Ahh...Fall. If you are new to Top This Top That, Welcome and know that I am not a big fan of that golden rule. Are you?
Happy Friday! Well, the lack of internet and phone service continues into it's 16 day. After 2 new routers,we discovered that our satellite dish got hit by lighting. They are suppose to be out early next week. This weekend, we will proudly attend a local art festival where Lily's art work will be on display . She was 1 of 15 students, out of800 children at her school, that will have share their artwork with the community. I am not sure what was selected, but I will be sure to share with you next week. Here's a few things that caught my eye this week. For all you animal lovers....isn't this gorgeous?
Happy Weekend! Hope you all had a marvelous week. So, initially I was enjoying the no phone and internet access in the house but now it is going on 9 days and.... I am ready. We had a most wicked storm that took out the transformer, our satellite and completely fried the TV in the den. I have had to schmooze up to hubby to post a few things this week, and I am hoping that we are back on track next week. Until then, here's some things that caught my eye this week.... while on my phone in the car ride line. Need to put these on the Christmas list.
I will never forget that sunny afternoon we bought our first cedar play fort. Driving home, my husband was thinking strategically about all the pieces that needed to be secured together, while I grew nostalgic.... thinking that I wanted it to be their forever play fort . The play fort that they would grow old on.... The play fort that lifelong memories would be created on and that visions like this would last forever.
